When measured from one inner edge straight across to the opposite inner edge, you get the inside diameter of the spring. So, when you see "2” in the product title, it refers to the inside diameter in inches — essentially, how wide the spring is on the inside.

Each spring is also stenciled with its complete size, including wire size, inside diameter, and length. Custom stenciling is available for a one-time $20 setup fee. After that, it’s free on every order.
